Moon Filters ... The moon is considered to be too bright when viewed through a telescope. This is not dangerous, but it is uncomfortable. A moon filter (both the simple and low cost moon green filter and the neutral grey filters) reduces glare for more viewing comfort and improved recognition of details. ............................
